How this site earns, and the rules that keep it out of the evidence.
The short version
One intervention page — Spermidine — carries a link to the material the studies used. If you buy through it, mTORiX may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That is the only way this site earns money. No advertiser has ever seen a page before it was published, and none can.
This count is generated from the dataset at build time, by the same function that creates the links. It cannot disagree with the number of links actually on the site: the build fails if any page states a different figure.
Why only one page
Almost nothing covered here can be bought. Each of the other 11 interventions is excluded for a recorded reason:
- Rapamycin; Sirolimus; Everolimus; Metformin — Prescription medicine. Not a supplement and not obtainable over the counter -- no purchase link on any page.
- RTB101 — Investigational; the Phase 3 program did not meet its primary endpoint. Never available for purchase.
- Caloric Restriction (CR); Protein Restriction; BCAA Restriction (Branched-Chain Amino Acid Restriction); Isoleucine Restriction; Aerobic Exercise; Resistance Exercise — A dietary or behavioural intervention, not a product. There is nothing to link to.
What a link here is allowed to be
One rule: a product page may link to what the studies actually used, labelled as what was used. That is a statement about the research, not advice to you.
- No product is ranked, scored, or called the best one.
- No dose, protocol, or regimen is suggested anywhere on this site.
- The spermidine page carries a data-model warning — the animal studies used spermidine in drinking water, and wheat germ extract sold as a supplement is not dose-equivalent to that. The warning is repeated inside the purchase panel, above the link, on purpose.
- Prescription and investigational compounds carry no purchase link at all.
- No price appears next to a retailer link. The build fails if one does.
What a link is never allowed to change
The evidence tier, the five-qualifier claim, the safety notes, and the negative, null or conflicting findings are set by the record — never by whether a compound can be bought. The spermidine page still says there is no human lifespan evidence and that the rodent result was sex-specific, while the link sits on the same page. If that ever stops being true, this page is the one that was violated.
